KeeganMeegan & Co’s portfolio is filled with incredible, illustrated letterpress wedding invitations, and I’m completely enamored with this crush-worthy, custom suite that they created for Ash & Jason’s August wedding.

The fully custom, illustrated wedding invitation suite was designed with care for Ash & Jason’s very “country Iowa” wedding, and the creative crew at KeeganMeegan obviously had much fun working with the lovely couple on this unique project. The suite includes a custom art print invitation featuring a sweet illustration of the couple, along with coordinating response cards, invitation cards, and matching envelopes. The palette of rich, deep green and warm, golden yellow (PMS 363U and 1235U, respectively) brings such a cozy and inviting tone to this unique, country-inspired suite.

Ryder’s Nautical Letterpress Baby Announcements

Sideshow Press creates such amazing pieces of letterpress loveliness, and their latest crush-worthy creation is an adorable nautical birth announcement for little Ryder. The unique announcements include custom bags made of sail cloth from the family’s boat, with Ryder’s initials embroidered onto the bag in the form of signaling code flags (so clever!). White cloth rope, tied in a sailor’s knot, closes the bag. The gorgeous letterpress announcement card continues the clever nautical theme by including Ryder’s vital stats in nautical terminology.

Crystal & Patrick’s Colorful Nautical Wedding Invitations

I am completely crushing on these colorful, custom wedding invitations by Faye & Co for Crystal and Patrick’s oceanfront wedding celebration. The nautical invites feature fantastic hand-lettering and illustration (aah, swoon), along with a wonderfully unexpected color palette of magenta, orange, and teal. I have no doubt that invited guests were absolutely delighted to receive these eye-catching invites in their mailboxes and can only imagine how fun this seaside wedding must have been!

Christina + Jamie’s Sweet Letterpress Bunting Invitations

I was delighted when these oh so sweet letterpress wedding invitations by Nane Press popped up in my inbox. The custom suite was designed for Christina and Jamie’s shabby chic Michigan wedding and features an adorably festive bunting motif that adds a touch of “girly” and sets the tone for a fun celebration to come. A custom tag featuring the couple’s initials adds a personal touch and, along with pink and white twine, literally ties together the entire suite.

Porter’s Typographic Baby Announcements

Dahlia Press shows us that simple, modern typography can be both sophisticated and fun with these lovely, custom letterpress baby announcements for little Porter. I like how the brackets “hug” the baby’s name and actually look a bit like a baby face with a cute little nose. Clever!

Karen + Francesco’s Bilingual Letterpress Wedding Invitations

This completely crush-worthy letterpress wedding invitation suite was a custom creation by DC + Chicago-based design studio, Ruby the Fox, for Karen + Francesco’s Italian wedding celebration. The gorgeous, duplexed (English + Italian) wedding invitations feature rich, aubergine ink and blind debossed botanical imagery and a magpie motif, which represents the bride’s Chinese heritage and gives the design depth and texture.

Also included in this elegant suite are a letterpress printed information card and a flat printed reply set. Soft pink envelopes compliment the aubergine text on the invitations and give the suite a warm feel, while the typography is a beautiful mix of soft, feminine script and a bold, masculine sans-serif face.

Folksy Woodland Animals Baby Shower Invites

Today’s crush (and, boy, is it a cute one) comes to us from Three Little Words, who have been doing much fantastic, custom work recently. These adorable invitations (and coordinating keepsake birth announcement print), custom created for a dear friend, feature folk art-inspired floral elements, charming type, and an oh so cute array of folksy woodland creatures. The sunny palette of reds, oranges, and yellows – with a dash of blue and gray – evokes a warm and cheerful tone, and I just love the custom invitation envelopes, which feature a cutie patootie deer on the front and a folksy bunny on the flap.

Here’s what Emily from Three Little Words has to say about this super sweet project:

This particular suite is really special to me because I designed it for a close childhood friend, Kate, and her husband, George. We actually created their custom wedding suite a couple of years ago, and it’s hard to believe that they already have a little baby! Elinor Claire was born on August 6th at a healthy 9lbs 5oz and is seriously gorgeous and thriving.

The suite was inspired by their nursery color palette, which is light grey with bright tones of salmon pink, tangerine, yellow, and cobalt blue. I also considered the designs and fabric choices that Kate uses when conceiving a theme for her dress brand, Filia, and eventually landed on a floral, folk animal concept. The invitations were flat printed on Crane’s 110# Lettra in Pearl White and paired with multi-colored envelopes from Paper Source, onto which we directly printed coordinating graphics and the addresses. We added a blossom-shaped “registry hang tag” to the back and threaded the ribbon through to embellish the front.

At the shower, Kate and our friend Hannah strung up handmade tissue-paper pom-poms in the same colors, made by the three of us the day before on my parent’s porch in Maine. I gave Kate coordinating Thank You Notes to save her some work later and, after her arrival, created a baby name print for Elinor’s room! A crafty guest also made a lamp inspired by the invitation, so the suite has been carried into the nursery, although Kate’s gorgeous, handmade baby curtains and linens truly are the focal point of the room.

Laser Cut London Olympics Invitations

I don’t tend to feature many “corporate” invitations, but I think you’ll agree that this is not your typical, run of the mill corporate invite. The unique Hilton Worldwide VIP invitation for the London Olympics was created by Artifacture, a Dallas-based design studio that specializes in laser cutting.

The folding invitation features a layered representation of the London skyline, and each layer unfolds to reveal the details and information contained within. I love the level of detail on each laser cut monument, from the London Eye to the Tower Bridge and Olympic Stadium.

Sarah + Tim’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Wedding Invites

Jenn Lane shows us just how un-boring wedding invitations can be with this crush-worthy, custom suite that she designed for Sarah and Tim’s April wedding. The rich magenta, vivid orange, black, and white suite is a feast for the eyes, with a totally rock ‘n’ roll winged emblem that appears throughout the suite and a bevy of awesome, custom icons that decorate both the invitation and on the super cool wedding map. If you weren’t ready to rock before laying your eyes upon these invites, then you’ve gotta be ready to rock now!

Unique Illustrated Letterpress Birth Announcements

I am in awe of these unique and absolutely stunning, illustrated letterpress birth announcements from ColorQuarry, a Rhode Island-based studio founded by illustrator and RISD graduate, Amanda McCorkle, who has worked for clients ranging from the corporate, publishing, and automotive industries to children’s, arts, and maritime museums. These amazing announcements feature imagery specific to the client, with themes that include woodland, ocean, circus, and celestial and illustrations that evoke a spirit of wonder and adventure.

Each birth announcement is letterpress printed by hand onto Crane Lettra paper to create what will certainly become paper keepsakes for each lucky recipient.
