Fill-In Letterpress Cocktail Party Invites

These fill-in letterpress party invitations by Daily Sip Studios are pretty darn pretty, and the modern wine glass pattern that decorates the top of the invites is so much fun. Love the beet purple ink, too! Modern type completes the chic and sleek design, which would be great choice for a cocktail party, housewarming, or other homey occasion.

Hannah + Tim’s Vintage Elegant Wedding Suite

For the past year or so, my favorite navy “color partner” has been either pink or fuchsia, but I have to say that this suite may just have turned me on to navy and orange. The lovely wedding invitation suite was designed by Kathryn Colohan for Hannah and Tim’s outdoor autumn wedding, and the mix of slightly aged-looking patterns and type create a look that’s very “vintage elegant”, just what the couple wanted. The mix of patterns featured throughout the suite was inspired by the origami swans, created using a mix of patterned papers, that will adorn the alter at the wedding ceremony.

The Wood Wedding Collection by Night Owl

I’m a big fan of Night Owl Paper Goods’ wood veneer cards and sweet design style, and I’m absolutely delighted about their new Wood Wedding Collection, which makes its official debut today. The nature-inspired wedding collection features wood veneer invitations, save the dates, reply cards, table numbers, and other details printed on eco-friendly wood veneer, and the variety of available designs is incredible. You can find everything from an adorable seersucker patterned suite (one of my personal favorites) to sophisticated script and photographic designs. Rich Red & Brown Letterpress Save the Dates

Ooh, such a lovely save the date design from Wild Ink. These rich red and brown letterpress save the date cards feature classic type and a wonderful acanthus pattern, echoed in the coordinating letterpress printed envelopes. The design features a large area of white space where the couple will be adding their own photo – what a great idea! And I can’t wait to see the main invitation design, which Rebekah from Wild Ink alluded to when she unveiled these pretties.

Classic Aubergine + Chartreuse Save the Dates

I’m totally crushing on these beautiful letterpress save the dates by Parrott Design Studio. Sarah Parrott designed the luxe and lovely save the dates for Christina and Kevin, a dear friend and her husband-to-be, and the combination of classic typography, sophisticated flourishes, and a chic aubergine and chartreuse color palette is absolutely divine!

The two-color save the dates were letterpress printed on 100% cotton paper in natural white and feature coordinating envelopes, which included a return address. Gorgeous!

Fishy 30th Surprise Birthday Party Invites

I can only imagine how much fun Tifany from Gourmet Invitations had when she was creating these awesome fishing-themed surprise 30th birthday party invitations, and how stoked the birthday boy must have been to lay his eyes on these … after the surprise party started, of course. Generally speaking, I know that guys aren’t into invitations as much as the ladies are, but I know a few beer-loving fishermen who would put these in their secret keepsake box under the bed and cherish them forever. C’mon, there are fishing lures AND beer caps!

Owly Letterpress Wedding Invitations

I’m a total sucker for anything with owls on it, so naturally it was crush at first sight when I spotted these adorable letterpress owl wedding invitations, printed by Cleanwash Letterpress in rich teal and chocolate and designed by Jane Branton for Lisa and Daniel’s big day. If the super cute illustrations that appear throughout the suite are any indication, then I think that this must’ve been one fun celebration!

I love the coordinating owl illustrations on the invitation envelopes – so cute!
