Unique Wine Stain + Cork Save the Dates

“It’s more than a crush.” While the sentiment at the top of these awesome save the dates may not have been intended as an expression of my feelings, it’s certainly fitting because I think that I may be in love with them. I mean, c’mon, how could I not fall in love with something so amazing?

The ladies at Three Little Words designed this wonderfully unique save the date for Emily (one half of the Three Little Words crew) and her fiancee, Rocky’s, upcoming Napa winery wedding, and the result is a little bit rustic, a little bit whimsical, and totally genius!

The save the date “cards” are actually cork shelf liner cut to size and screen printed in white ink. Talk about great texture! And Lady Rene always adds a bit of sweet romance, perfect for such a unique save the date.

One of my favorite details has to be the wine-stained “seals” on the envelopes, which were each created by hand. Any crafty project that involves a glass of wine has got to be fun, right?

Atiya + Joseph’s Indian Inspired Invitations

These two color custom letterpress invitations for Atiya + Joseph by Lion in the Sun are absolutely lush. The chipboard stock on which the suite is printed provides a warm backdrop for the rich red and chocolate brown inks, and the mix of script and sans-serif fonts, along with the ornate, Indian-inspired patterns that carry through to each piece in the suite, set a tone that’s traditional with a clean, modern twist.

Vintage Airplane Save the Dates

If you love mid-century style, then I think that you’re going to be a fan of these green and black fold out save the dates by Brian Hurst. I featured these pretties earlier in the week over at Paper Crave, but I just had to share over here, too, because I’m totally crushing on this fun fold-out save the date design. Add vintage stamps and a custom emblem rubber stamp, and you have a wonderfully sweet paper treat for each invited guest.

Letter Box Ink has some really awesome vintage ephemera-inspired invitations in their collection, and I’m crushing on this Composition Notebook wedding invitation suite like there’s no tomorrow. Such a fun take on a storybook style wedding invite, and the attention to detail, from the doodled love bird illustrations to super fun typography, a custom wedding map and a composition notebook-inspired cover, puts this suite smack on top of my “cute invitation” list.

Dubai-based invitation boutique, Natoof, just launched a beautiful new line of digitally printed Arabic language wedding invitations that’s just the thing for couples with smaller weddings. With this collection, Natoof offers a more affordable alternative to most of their regular invitations, which are offset printed, a method that’s ideal for quantities of 300 or more.

The new digital collection is a great option for more intimate affairs, and the designs are wonderfully ornate and colorful. A shimmery selection of coordinating metallic envelopes only adds to the vibrance of this lovely collection.

Vintage Bird Postcard Bridal Shower Invitations

Erin from Lucky Luxe has knocked one out of the park yet again with these absolutely gorgeous bridal shower invitations that she designed for her best friend. The beautiful, Audobon-style bird illustration on the front of this folding invitation sets a vibrant vintage tone, and the colorful color palette is perfect for Spring.

Bridesmaids and friends are also receiving an invitation to the bachelorette party, so Erin created coordinating vintage-style postcard bachelorette invitations (above, bottom two images), mailed in cellophane envelopes. Clever and beautiful!

Red + White Americana Wedding Invitations

Well, howdy, gorgeous invitations! I spotted this awesome, vintage Americana-inspired suite over at The Inspired Bride, and it was squee at first sight. The custom suite was designed by Morgan Ashley Allen for her own wedding, and the result is a fantastic blend of rustic charm and contemporary aesthetic.

The main invitation card is a wonderful example of a one color design with amazing visual impact, and the western imagery found on the RSVP postcards and cowboy postage stamps just adds to the comfy country feel of this wedding celebration.
