Ringleader Paper Co. just opened its doors a few months ago, but they already have a crushtastic assortment of invitations and announcements in their shop. Their eye-catching wedding invitation and save the date card designs bridge the gap between the contemporary and the traditional and have a timeless quality that’s a little bit modern, a little bit mid-century, and completely lovely.
Check out some of my favorites from their collection below, and head over to the Ringleader Paper Co. shop to see all of their designs, which also include children’s party invites, holiday cards, and more.

Sideshow Press creates such amazing pieces of letterpress loveliness, and their latest crush-worthy creation is an adorable nautical birth announcement for little Ryder. The unique announcements include custom bags made of sail cloth from the family’s boat, with Ryder’s initials embroidered onto the bag in the form of signaling code flags (so clever!). White cloth rope, tied in a sailor’s knot, closes the bag. The gorgeous letterpress announcement card continues the clever nautical theme by including Ryder’s vital stats in nautical terminology.

I am completely crushing on these colorful, custom wedding invitations by Faye & Co for Crystal and Patrick’s oceanfront wedding celebration. The nautical invites feature fantastic hand-lettering and illustration (aah, swoon), along with a wonderfully unexpected color palette of magenta, orange, and teal. I have no doubt that invited guests were absolutely delighted to receive these eye-catching invites in their mailboxes and can only imagine how fun this seaside wedding must have been!

Starshaped Press creates absolutely amazing letterpress pieces, and they do so in a very old school way, using antique metal and wood type + ornaments to build incredibly unique and wonderful pieces like these rich blue and kelly green wedding invitations for Renee and Peter’s Chicago wedding. I also love that Starshaped often takes photos of the plates used to create their incredible letterpress work because you can see just how much work and loving care goes into each project.
The clever use of ornaments in the “building” of the Chicago skyline, along with a smattering of stars and ultra bold type make these magical invitations a most definite invitation crush.

I was delighted when these oh so sweet letterpress wedding invitations by Nane Press popped up in my inbox. The custom suite was designed for Christina and Jamie’s shabby chic Michigan wedding and features an adorably festive bunting motif that adds a touch of “girly” and sets the tone for a fun celebration to come. A custom tag featuring the couple’s initials adds a personal touch and, along with pink and white twine, literally ties together the entire suite.

Dahlia Press shows us that simple, modern typography can be both sophisticated and fun with these lovely, custom letterpress baby announcements for little Porter. I like how the brackets “hug” the baby’s name and actually look a bit like a baby face with a cute little nose. Clever!

Night Owl Paper Goods are masters of wood veneer, and the new additions to their splendid wood wedding invitation collection are the perfect compliment for this outside the box material. The 20 new designs in the collection will be available later this month and include plenty of wonderful typography, as well as on trend elements like ombre (check out the Horizon suite below) and always in style floral and botanical motifs.
Each suite is available printed on sustainably-harvested birch wood veneer or FSC certified paper printed to look like birch veneer.
