Whimsical Illustrated Wedding Invitations

It’s become “cute week” here with all of the sweet and adorable invitations that I’ve covered over the past few days, and this suite by MaeMae Paperie is no exception. The wonderful, whimsical wedding suite was a collaboration between MaeMae and illustrator/animator (and bride) Debra Chow, who created a really fun series of “polaroid” illustrations that tell the story of Debra and Josh’s relationship as part of this unique suite.

Sweet illustrations are featured throughout the suite, along with fun fonts that perfectly compliment all of the fun little details.

Whimsical Yellow + Gray Wedding Invites

Yellow and Gray Letterpress Wedding Invites

Ready for a little quick crush? I spotted these wonderful yellow and gray letterpress wedding invitations by Hello! Lucky over on Ruffled last week, and I just had to share them here. These lovely invites are actually a customization of the Whimsy Wedding Invitation suite from Hello! Lucky’s collection, and whoah, they’re fantastic!

I just love the letterpressed key, tied with a sweet bow, on the save the dates, and the looped pattern that frames the wedding details on the invitation card and is echoed in the envelope liner pattern and on the address labels really sets a fun tone, don’t you think? Plus, the reply card with the letterpress printed pen – so great!

BRIDES Magazine and Checkerboard, huge names in the world of weddings and fine stationery, respectively, just released a new collaborative wedding invitation collection, and what a crush-worthy collection it is!

Pieces in the BRIDES Fine Wedding Papers collection were designed to “inspire every bride to embrace her distinctive style”, and the result is a gorgeous array of sleek, modern designs that will appeal to couples looking for everything from ultra modern invitations to whimsical invites and save the dates. I’m really excited by the use of interesting patterned envelope liners and unique die-cut envelopes in this collection, as well.

Hand Lettered Bridal Shower Garden Luncheon Invites

These hand-lettered invitations for a surprise bridal shower / garden luncheon are so, so lovely. Artist, illustrator, and hand-lettering enthusiast, Mary Kate McDevitt, created these wonderful invites, which feature whimsical vine illustrations and lettering that’s a little bit vintage, a little bit fancy, and a whole lot of fun.
