Anna + Sei Rey’s Golden Medallion Letterpress Invites

Back in April, I featured Anna and Sei Rey’s fantastic, mid-century style save the dates, and I’m so excited to be able to share their lovely letterpress wedding invitations with you today. Anna and Sei Rey, the duo behind graphic design studio, Us & Them, created their luscious golden yellow and fawn gray wedding invitations together, and the result is a little bit ornate, a little bit mid-century, and very beautiful.

I love that they tied the invitations to the save the dates in a way that is more subtle, giving the invite suite its own “personality” but bringing in details like the golden yellow from the save the date envelope as one of the main colors in the wedding suite, and incorporating some of the mid-century style elements, as well. The ornate medallion that is front and center on the invitation card is simply stunning.

One of my favorite details is the envelope, embossed with Anna and Sei Rey’s intertwined initials:

Mid-Century Style Blue + Gray Save the Dates

Now this is a seriously cool save the date! Anna Wingard and Sei Rey Ho of Us & Them created these fantastic, two-color letterpress save the dates, printed by Mama’s Sauce, for their own upcoming wedding, and I’m really digging the mid-century style elements and awesome illustrations, not to mention the great blue and gray color palette.

I also think it’s fantastic that Anna and Sei Rey chose sunflower yellow envelopes for their save the dates. The yellow really packs a punch and provides the perfect contrast for the electric shade of blue in the save the date cards. Unexpected, and unforgettable! – found via French Paper
