National Stationery Show 2012 : Smock + Bella Figura

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a week since I returned from every paper lover’s wonderland, the National Stationery Show. Visions of lovely paper goods still dance in my head, and this week I’ll be sharing just a few of the wedding invitation collections that completely caught my eye at the show.

First up are Smock and Bella Figura, sister companies who really know how to create a stunning wedding invitation suite. Their booth was filled with gorgeous, foil-stamped and letterpressed suites in styles that range in style from classic to mid-century inspired to ultra modern.

Dawson Invitation by Smock

Smock just released 14 new letterpress suites, and I’ve been ooh-ing and aah-ing over all of the gorgeous designs since I first laid my eyes on them. The new designs feature a spectrum of styles, from the sleek, mid-century style Hekla to the wonderfully playful, die-cut Palmer, and they can be customized for everything from weddings (of course) to bridal showers, baby shower, and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. Here’s just a peek at the new designs:

Custom Holiday Letterpress Invitations from Smock

Smock has been showcasing some absolutely gorgeous custom letterpress holiday invitations lately (custom holiday cards, too!), and I just had to share these lovelies over here. Aren’t they beautiful?

Fall Letterpress Wedding Invitations for Peyton + Logan

Ooh, there are so many gorgeous elements going on this fall wedding invitation suite that I couldn’t help but crush on it. The letterpress suite, printed by Smock Paper, was a custom design by byrd & bleecker in Fort Worth, Texas and features a perfect fall palette of tangerine, saffron, aubergine, and taupe.

One of my favorite elements in this suite is the calligraphy by Crystal Kluge, who worked with byrd & bleecker throughout the invitation design process to create pops of gorgeous calligraphy that are the perfect compliment to the formal face used for the event details and the beautiful lattice-style, faux bois, and fall leaf patterns that embellish the pieces in the suite.
