Vintage Airplane Save the Dates

Vintage Typography Save the Date Cards

If you love mid-century style, then I think that you’re going to be a fan of these green and black fold out save the dates by Brian Hurst. I featured these pretties earlier in the week over at Paper Crave, but I just had to share over here, too, because I’m totally crushing on this fun fold-out save the date design. Add vintage stamps and a custom emblem rubber stamp, and you have a wonderfully sweet paper treat for each invited guest.

Circus-Themed 1st Birthday Invites

These circus-themed 1st birthday invitations by Eunice from Hello! Lucky are retro-licious and absolutely adorable! Eunice created these fun and festive invites for her son, Jude’s, circus-themed first birthday, and I can’t wait to see pictures from the party itself. Stay tuned to the Hello! Lucky blog for those, and in the meantime, have a gander at these awesome invites. The coordinating teal envelopes with the red and white striped liners are super cool, too!

Retro BBQ Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

These retro-inspired BBQ rehearsal dinner invitations by Lion in the Sun are smokin’! The fab typography and great colors (lots of red!) give off such a fun, warm vibe, perfect for Molly and Josh’s casual pre-wedding dinner. I just love the worn look of the type and the “Jeans & Spurs Welcome” message at the bottom of this super cool invite.

Liz + Andy’s Teal and Red Poster Invitations

Teal and Red Screen Printed Wedding Invitations

Ooh, retro-licious! I spotted these lovelies over at Benign Objects and am totally crushing. Andy Luce, the groom and designer, wanted to capture the feel of newspapers and playbills from the 1930’s and 1940’s in his wedding suite, and he hand silk-screened the teal and red, poster-size invitations, as well as coordinating postcard RSVPs, for a result that’s bold and evocative of another time.

Find out more about these invitations, and the companion wedding website, at Benign Objects and at Andy Luce’s site.

Retro Modern Red and Teal Letterpress Wedding Invites

I love it when I open my feed reader and see something so outstanding that my heart goes pitter pat, and that’s exactly what happened when I spotted these super fun letterpress wedding invitations by Erin Jang. Happy sigh …

See, these invites are so awesome that I can’t even find the words to express how much I love them. The sweet, mid-century modern style faces, the perfect teal and red color palette, the plaid and houndstooth patterns (omigosh, the faces inside the houndstooth patterned envelope liner!) —I’m simply floored by this entire suite. And I have a feeling that you will be, too:

Camp Bachelorette Postcard Invitations

Camp Bachelorette Postcard Invitations

I am totally crushing on these weekend getaway Camp Bachelorette invitations by Benign Objects. The ready to customize, retro fun postcard invites were born out of a custom client project for a weekend getaway set in the mountains of North Georgia, and I’m looking forward to seeing the results of the original project because the postcard version is so super cool. You can purchase the invitations in increments of twenty from the Benign Objects Etsy shop. They’re available in three colorways, and adjustments for a different setting or theme can be made upon request.
