Sweet Mason Jar + Fireflies Wedding Invitations

Mason jars, fireflies, oodles of sweet hand-lettering, and a wonderful gray and yellow color palette – heck yeah, I’ve got a crush on this wedding suite! Brandon and Jacob’s letterpress wedding suite caught my eye as soon as I spotted it over on FPO, and I’m still buzzing about it (pun intended).

From the sweet, hand-lettered mason jar save the dates to the whimsical, coordinating pattern work and hand-lettered and illustrated invitations (the light bulb-tailed firefly is too cute for words, and the buzzy little bee is pretty darn adorable, too), there’s a lot to love about these invites. And the fact that Brandon and Jacob’s reception seems to have taken place in a big cupcake is just the proverbial cherry on top.

New York & London Illustrated Wedding Suite

New York and London Wedding Invitations

I am completely crushing on this illustrated wedding suite that Anna from Rifle Paper Co. recently shared. The custom invitation suite was designed by Rifle for Jennifer and Alex, who are from New York City and London, respectively, and the illustrations on the invitation include highlights of the skyline from each city.

Inspiration for the suite came from the vintage style interior of the Bowery Hotel in New York, where the wedding was held, and from the gorgeous Saipua floral arrangements (you can see the actual arrangements here) that were at the wedding. Wedding programs were tied with Angela Liguori’s luscious Italian cotton ribbon. Ah, so lovely.

These hand-lettered invitations for a surprise bridal shower / garden luncheon are so, so lovely. Artist, illustrator, and hand-lettering enthusiast, Mary Kate McDevitt, created these wonderful invites, which feature whimsical vine illustrations and lettering that’s a little bit vintage, a little bit fancy, and a whole lot of fun. Kevin + Satsuki’s Modern Hand-Lettered Wedding Invitations

Hand Lettered Letterpress Wedding Invitations

I featured these gorgeous, hand-lettered letterpress invitations over at Paper Crave a couple of weeks ago, but they’re so lovely that I wanted to shared them over here, too. The invitations were designed by Satsuki Shibuya, who recently launched the Los Angeles based graphic design and product design studio, Zakka Nouveau, and designed these hand-lettered lovelies for her own upcoming wedding.

The project was a true labor of love and features a wonderful combination of hand-lettering (by Satsuki), a gorgeous gray and pink color palette, and a classic chevron pattern in pink and creme on the reverse of the invite. These unique wedding invitations combine the old and the new for a look that’s oh so chic, but with a touch of fun, too. Whimsical Wedding Invitations by Oh My Deer

It was crush at first sight when I spotted these lovely wedding invitations by Chelsea Petaja of Oh My Deer for Leah + Jon over at Once Wed. The hand lettering is simply gorgeous and, along with the hand drawn banner details and illustrated wedding map, gives this custom invite suite such a fun, whimsical feel. I’m also really digging the palette of teal, green, and soft orange.
