Destination Wedding Invites : Boston, Miami, and The Riviera

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Lab Partners and Hello! Lucky collaborations, especially their city-specific destination wedding invitation suites, so my day was most certainly made when I found out that they just added Boston, Miami, and The Riviera to their collection of super cool illustrated destination invites. Here’s a peek at the fun new designs:

Balsa Wood Airplane Save the Dates

Now this is one unique save the date! Kristi Delfino of Luna and Chloe came up with this inventive save the date concept after having a chat with a friend about destination weddings. She took her inspiration from toy balsa wood airplanes and created super fun, custom stamped airplane save the dates (these would be great invitations, too) that come ready to assemble in their own custom “air mail” envelopes. Invited guests would have so much fun with these!

Pineapple perfection. That’s what these gorgeous invitations are. The creative custom wedding invitation suite was designed by Lion in the Sun for Jackie and Anthony’s Hawaiian wedding, and the fantastic laser cut wood invitation cards prominently feature the pineapple motif found throughout the suite. But there’s so much more, in both design and texture, to be found in this unique wedding suite.

The invitations were delivered in deep aubergine silk boxes, and the invitation cards were wrapped in amazing pineapple-like embossed paper with wax pineapple seals.

Menus, programs, and additional paper details feature a lovely mix of laser-cut elements and letterpress printing.

Envelopments Destination Wedding Invitation Sample

It’s so fun and inspiring to browse around the Envelopments “Featured Recipes” portfolio, a showcase invitations of all sorts that have been created using the Envelopments product line. I also like that they list every element used in the design underneath the sample photos, so you will know exactly what you’re looking for when you contact your local Envelopments designer/dealer.

One of my favorite wedding suites in their mix & match recipe box is the Brynne & Logan sample, a destination wedding invitation suite that features a pocket card filled with information that guests will need for an entire destination wedding weekend, plus additional coordinating goodies like a bottle of wine with a personalized label and favor boxes filled with edible treats.

Nautical wedding themes are so popular right now, and I’m love, love, loving Bird & Banner’s take on the theme. These incredible nautical flag inspired invites were featured in the recent Destinations special issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, and I’m completely aswoon over the unique shape, rope details, flag-shaped canvas covers, and ultra modern typography.

Lab Partners Destination Wedding Invitations

If I wasn’t swoon-y enough over Lab Partners’ New York, San Francisco, Hawaii, and London destination wedding invitations for Hello! Lucky, then these new destination wedding invites would certainly put me over the edge. Lab Partners has created four new destination wedding invitation suites, including Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Paris. Each suite features awesome illustrations from Lab Partners, and the save the dates feature incredible illustrated scenes from the corresponding city. The new wedding invite collections are available letterpressed or digitally printed, and each has multiple colorway options.
