Kids’ Board Game Birthday Party Invitations

I am totally crushing on these cutie patootie board game-inspired kids’ birthday party invites from Paper Tuli. The colorful fill-in invitations are available for 1st through 5th birthday parties, and each invite features the birthday “number” in board game style. The numbers are dotted with adorable illustrated “game pieces”, and the reverse is laid out to hold all of the birthday party details. Check out the cuteness:

Balloon-Themed Baby Shower Invites

Tina from Tabibi Design sent over these perfectly adorable (and slightly cheeky), balloon-themed baby shower invites that she recently designed for a parents-to-be, Nick and Lisa. Tina lets us in on some of the details about this super fun project:

I was asked to create a bright and fun shower invitation with a modern spin on the traditional baby shower invitation. The client wanted the invitation to appeal to both men and women for the casual, summer party celebration in honor of the parents-to-be, Nick and Lisa. I used the phrase, “She’s about to pop!”, accompanied by a balloon graphic, as the theme for the invitation. I knew a little humor would be appreciated by the happy couple, who are anything but traditional. The invitation was assembled with a satin poppy colored ribbon and custom tag with their registry information.

Cute Pink Letterpress Birth Announcements

Alex Liebold wanted his daughter’s birth announcement to be cute and appropriately girly but no too frilly, and I think that he hit the nail on the head with this incredibly sweet, pink announcement that features awesome typography – love the swirly, scalloped “ELISE” – a striped, scalloped frame, and fantastic letterpress printing by Rise and Shine Paper. Ooh, and the pink edge painting is pretty darn lovely, too.

Cute Lion Baby Shower Invites

I’m starting the week off on a cute note with these adorable, lion-themed baby shower invitations that Alison Citron (be sure to check out her shop, Love Citron) designed for a little boy’s baby shower. Alison went clean, type heavy, and not “too baby” for this super fun design, which meshed perfectly with the parents’ fresh, modern style. I’m really digging the teal and golden color palette and the chevron pattern detail, which gives the sleek, typographic layout a touch of texture.
