Lyla + Chris’ Preppy, Golf-Themed Save the Dates

Today’s clever invitation crush comes to us from Roseville Designs, who created these fun and preppy, golf-themed save the dates for Lyla + Chris’ upcoming country club wedding. Lovin’ that gorgeous, green argyle envelope liner!

Sandy from Roseville Designs shares:

Lyla + Chris are having an elegant and preppy May wedding in Greenwich, Connecticut. They love golf and, since their wedding weekend will be hosted at a country club, they wanted to tie that into their design. I created a custom “monogram” with golf clubs that can be used as a motif throughout their wedding paper story. Here, we incorporated it as part of the return address on the envelope. For the actual save the date, I went for a classic calendar look, which we had flat-printed on textured felt stock. The final touch (and my favorite detail) is the bold argyle envelope liner, which pairs nicely with the elegant look of the actual card.

Letterpress Playing Card Wedding Invitations

I love it when a couple steps outside the box and has some fun with their wedding invitations, and it was crush at first sight when I spotted these awesome (and clever) letterpress playing card wedding invitations recently over on Brooklyn Bride. With fun wording, fantastic illustrations by Allison Colpoys, and beautiful letterpress printing in neon orange and gold by The Hungry Workshop, I don’t think there’s anything about Zoë & Hamish’s unique wedding invites that isn’t completely crush-worthy.

Hand-Lettered Letterpress Birth Announcements

Much love undoubtedly went into these absolutely darling, hand-lettered letterpress birth announcements, created by designer Greg Christman for his son, Oliver. The hand lettered poem, which reads ” I know you might roll your eyes at this, but I’m so glad that you exist,” tugs at the heart strings, and I’m really digging the clever layout, which features a different birth stat for little Oliver in each corner. – spotted on Pinterest

Beer-Themed 30th Birthday Party Invitations

I know that guys aren’t generally prone to swooning, but there may very well be some swooning going on if a beer-loving dude had invitations like these for his 30th birthday party. Abigail Luby from Chips + Salsa Design Studio designed these awesome red, white, and blue (with a little wood, too) invites for her husband’s beer tasting-themed 30th birthday party, and I can only imagine how happy he was 1) to have a beer tasting birthday party, and 2) to have these super cool invitations to go along with said beer tasting birthday party.

Here’s what Abigail had to say about these fun birthday invites:

The main invitation is printed double-sided on sycamore wood with a custom designed beer label on the front and party details on the back. While we now live in Texas, my husband is originally from New York, so I incorporated the “Imported from New York” text, as well as “Bills Backyard Brewing Co.” because he is a huge Buffalo Bills fan, and the party is being held at our home. All other paper pieces, including the day of the party banners and decor, share the same feel and theme.

I am so incredibly excited to tell you about the new ready to order range of wedding invitations from UK based Beyond Beyond. There is so much eye candy in the new collection that you’ll probably have to go back for second or third helpings!

Amma Adjubi, the creative mind behind Beyond Beyond, has designed an amazing number of unique invites, which include everything from ultra sleek, modern styles to ornate patterned styles to super fun, nostalgia-inducing designs featuring penny-farthing bicycles, vintage typewriters, Legos, boom boxes, mix tapes, and other old school toys and fun.

Invitations are available in A6 size, as well as A4 and A3 poster sized invites that can be folded or mailed in a tube. Pretty cool! Coordinating table plans, menus, placeholders, and websites are also available, and you can even get 3D specs for some of the designs.
