East Meets West Letterpress Wedding Invitations

It was crush at first sight when I spotted this beautiful letterpress wedding invitation package over at FPO recently. The gorgeous, gray and white suite was inspired by the Chinese character, 王,which stands for both the bride and groom’s last names, and the design is a visual blend of the couple’s “eastern descent and upbringing” and their westernized lifestyle.

The Chinese character was used to create the pattern on the front of the wedding invitation card and sets a modern, east-meets-west tone, inspiring complimentary patterns featured throughout the suite. A whimsical, script typeface adds a touch of playfulness here and there and is a nice compliment to the straightforward, sans-serif face featured throughout the suite.
