Raquel + Gerry’s Custom Passport Wedding Invites

I couldn’t be more delighted by these custom passport destination wedding invitations, designed by Lion in the Sun for Raquel and Jerry, but I’ll try. Nope, I’m at max delight levels here. The oh so clever invitations feature a shimmery, navy blue cover (navy stardream stock) with gold foil stamping – such a perfect pairing for these amazing invitations.

The interior pages of the invites are equally awesome, with genuine looking emblems, stamps, and other graphic elements that truly make these some of the best passport-style invitations that I’ve seen. The cherry on top is the brilliant boarding pass tear out RSVP cards – love the “# of seats” and “missing the flight” as the invited guests’ yes and no choices.

Holiday Party Invitations from Rifle Paper

I’m featuring the new collection of holiday greeting cards from Rifle Paper Co. over on Paper Crave today, and the fill-in holiday party invites from Rifle’s holiday collection are equally awesome. Anna Bond’s sweet, whimsical illustrations are a perfect fit for the magical holiday season, and the subdued palette and nostalgic tone of the designs make me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Their collection of elegant, traditional letterpress invitations feature gorgeous script faces and ornate patterns, frames, and emblems that give the finished designs a definite wow factor.

Beyond Beyond Wedding Invitations

I am so incredibly excited to tell you about the new ready to order range of wedding invitations from UK based Beyond Beyond. There is so much eye candy in the new collection that you’ll probably have to go back for second or third helpings!

Amma Adjubi, the creative mind behind Beyond Beyond, has designed an amazing number of unique invites, which include everything from ultra sleek, modern styles to ornate patterned styles to super fun, nostalgia-inducing designs featuring penny-farthing bicycles, vintage typewriters, Legos, boom boxes, mix tapes, and other old school toys and fun.

Invitations are available in A6 size, as well as A4 and A3 poster sized invites that can be folded or mailed in a tube. Pretty cool! Coordinating table plans, menus, placeholders, and websites are also available, and you can even get 3D specs for some of the designs. John + Nancy’s Old-Fashioned Hitchin’ Wedding Invites

There’s a little bit of awesome in every nook and cranny of these old-fashioned, southern style hitchin’ letterpress wedding invites, designed by Austin, Texas design firm, PTARMAK, for John and Nancy’s big day. Every piece in the suite is imbued with old-fashioned southern charm, and the typography and ornate illustrative elements are simply stunning.

Sweet Pink + Gold Bridal Shower Invites

Today I’m completely crushing on these sweet, pink and gold bridal shower invitations that Kathleen from Twig & Thistle designed for her youngest sister’s shower. The shower was lingerie-themed, and Kathleen wanted the invites to reflect and celebrate the girly tone of the party, so she chose a palette of pink, white, and gold. I’m swooning over the lovely, modern letterpress invitations and loving the mini pink envelope that was attached to the card. This oh so sweet detail held event details, which where printed on an accordion fold insert.

Elegant Farm Inspired Wedding Invitations

Ah, swoon! Wiley Valentine created these ultra elegant letterpress wedding invitations, featured this week on Style Me Pretty, for the Tennessee wedding of Lauren & Paschal, organic farmers who wanted to infuse their invitations with an earthy, farm feel without being overt or over the top about it.

Wiley Valentine did a beautiful job of incorporating farm imagery – carrots, a wheel barrow, lettuce, watering cans, and garden tools can be found in the pieces in this wedding suite – with sophisticated type and upscale, calligraphic swashes. Lunalux Train-Themed Letterpress Wedding Invitations

I’ve been poring over the portfolio of Minneapolis-based letterpress studio, Lunalux, and they’ve created so many gorgeous, custom letterpress wedding invites that it’s been pretty tough for me to whittle down my list of favorites. I do have to say that my absolute favorite invitations have to be these train-themed, black and white letterpress invites that they designed for Taylor & TJ, whose wedding reception was held at the Minnesota Transportation Museum’s Jackson Street Roundhouse.

The invites were inspired by vintage train ephemera and photos of early 1900s steam locomotives, and the result is absolutely stunning.

Handmade Felt Flower Invitations

These handmade felt flower invitations are so clever and undeniably cute, don’t you think? I love felt flowers so, naturally, I was instantly drawn to these cuties, and if you think these are sweet, then you need to head over to The Violet Hours because the invites are just the tip of the iceberg in a sea of lovely felt flowers for an adorable birthday girl. – via Hip Hip Hooray!

Stephanie + David’s Beautiful Blue Letterpress Invites

Thanks to Stephanie for sharing these beautiful blue letterpress invitations that she designed for her wedding this past Memorial Day weekend. Stephanie and David’s wedding was held on the beach in Ocean City, and the reception was at the Ocean City Yacht Club. The couple wanted their invitations to reflect their wedding’s nautical beach location in a more subtle, sophisticated way. I love how Stephanie used different shades of blue and an elegant, undulating script font, both of which lend the wedding suite a nautical feel without the need for any of the nautical icons often found in ocean-themed invites.

Other highlights from this gorgeous letterpress suite include fun, typographic envelope liners – an exciting surprise for the invitees, embossed navy envelopes (love!), and blue edge painted letterpress invitations that are pure eye candy. Letterpress printing was done by Boxcar Press, but much of the suite was a do-it-yourself labor of love for Stephanie, who was inspired to open a freelance wedding invitation design studio after finishing her own invitation project.
