Cute Holiday Party Invitations from Tiny Prints

I have a soft spot in my heart for super cute illustrations and bright, festive color, and this soft spot grows three sizes every year at the holidays because of all of the adorable gift wrap, greeting cards, and invitations that come out to play in November and December. Tiny Prints has a bunch of cute holiday party invitations this year that would be wonderful for holiday shindigs, neighborly get togethers, and cookie exchanges, and these are just a few of my favorites. Well, actually, it’s eight favorites, but eight is a few when you’re paper obsessed.

Mid-Century Modern Moving Announcements

Mid Century Modern Moving Announcements

Freelance graphic designer, Kristina Walton, of Studio 67 Designs recently made a big move from Dallas to Chicago, and she designed these mid-century awesome moving announcements to send to her clients. The sunshine yellow and black color scheme really packs a punch and reminds me of the ubiquitous city cab, and do I even have to tell you that I’m loving all of the mid-century graphic elements, including that yummy, argyle-patterned slab-serif font?

Tropical Wedding Invitations by Sweet Olive Press

Tropical Letterpress Wedding Invites

I was recently introduced to the work of Sweet Olive Press, whose Gingerbread Snow Globe letterpress holiday cards instantly became one of my favorites of the season, and their custom wedding invitation portfolio is filled with gorgeousness, too.

These tropical letterpress wedding invites, created for Brooke and John’s intimate Hawaiian wedding, feature an unexpectedly subtle burnt orange, cream, and copper color scheme and beautiful letterpress scrollwork elements against modern typography. I love the understated hibiscus flower illustrations, which were letterpressed in cream colored ink for a look that’s both understated and elegant.  And one of my favorite elements has to be the shimmery copper letterpress printed envelopes, which bring a bit of sparkle and fun to this sophisticated suite.

Pink + Yellow Footprints Baby Shower Invites

Yellow Pink Footprints Baby Shower Invitations

Yellow Pink Footprints Baby Shower Invitations

I love the hot pink and yellow color scheme and super cute baby footprint pattern on these custom baby shower invitations by Laura Macchia. Laura’s client was taken with the Laura’s Heart Love Greeting Card, which became the jumping off point for the custom design, and the little baby footprint pattern was born. The yellow was inspired by the color of the baby’s nursery, and Laura added a touch of bright pink to contrast and to add a bit of a girly feel.

This will be my last post before the Thanksgiving holiday, and I want to wish all of you who celebrate a Happy Turkey Day! Thanks so much for dropping by Invitation Crush, and I’ll see you back here on Monday!

Dessa + Victor’s Sweet Woodland Wedding Invitations

Woodland Wedding Invitations Anna Hurley

Eep! Are these woodland wedding invitations for Dessa and Victor sweet, or what? The invites and coordinating wedding weekend schedules were designed by graphic designer/illustrator, Anna Hurley, and feature a mid-century style illustrated woodland scene with fuzzy bunnies, inquisitive squirrels, and a doe and buck (symbolic of bride and groom) drinking from a bubbling brook. The chocolate brown, moss green, and subdued yellow palette give this suite a great, retro rustic feel.

I am more than on board with the recent trend in vintage ephemera-inspired wedding invitatons and save the date cards, and these lovely, vintage postcard style wedding invites from Golden Rectangle Press really caught my eye. The one color letterpress invitations feature gorgeous scrollwork frames and type that evoke thoughts of early 20th century society. Love it!
