Mila + William’s Ornate Wedding Program Fans

Today’s crush is not only incredibly beautiful, but it’s quite unique, as well. These gorgeous, Victorian-inspired, die-cut letterpress wedding programs were designed by Chauhie for Mila and William’s mid-winder wedding, and these beauties, along with the coordinating wedding invitation suite, would have any Victorian lady flushing with excitement.

Monika from Chauhie has this to say about the crush-worthy project:

Mila and William were both looking for a unique, keepsake program that had a vintage, Victorian feel to it. The fan was divided into 5 panels, each outlining the different elements of the ceremony, and a personal thank you from the couple was featured on the last panel. I had come up with several custom, decorative die-cuts for Mila and William to choose from. In the end, we chose one of the more clean-lined options. The design blended both beautifully with the shape of the fan, as well as the wedding invitation suite itself. After creating the special die-cut, the fan was letterpress printed on Cranes 100% cotton paper and hand assembled.

Whimsical Woodland Wedding Invitations

I’m more than a bit of a sucker for all things woodgrain so, naturally, I was enamored with this wonderful, woodsy wedding suite by Akimbo the moment that I laid eyes upon it. The “Oberon” suite, inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, was originally commissioned for a shoot for The Lane and is now available from Akimbo for couples looking for an eye-catching wedding invitation for their natural, woodland, or rustic outdoor weddings. Playful typography, a sweet map and, of course, those fabulous wood veneer invitations are the highlights of this completely crush-worthy suite.

I’ve been a fan of Bryn Chernoff’s, a.k.a. Paperfinger’s, beautiful calligraphy since I first saw her work, and I’m absolutely delighted about the launch of Ligature, her new, ready-made wedding invitation collection. The collection features five suites, each with their own distinct flavor, and all of them oh so lovely. Clients simply choose the design that they would like, and Paperfinger takes it from there, writing the calligraphy and working with printing partners to create gorgeous, letterpress printed or engraved invites. Sun & Surf Letterpress Wedding Invites

It was crush at first sight when I spotted Renee & Daniel’s beachy letterpress wedding invites, designed and printed by Ruby’s Tuesday Boutique Letterpress, over on FPO recently. The cool blue suite features fantastic, modern typography and a unique, surf-themed monogram that gives the invitation such a fresh and playful feel. A wave motif carries the beach/ocean theme through to each piece, and a custom printed keepsake handkerchief map (printed by Spoonflower and so adorable!) is the cherry on top of this unforgettable wedding suite.

Elegant Baseball Wedding Invitations

The 4th of July is coming up tomorrow, and I’ve been on the hunt for invitations that would be a perfect fit for the quintessential American summertime celebration. Now, “Elegant” and “baseball” are two words that no one expects to see in the same sentence, but they perfectly describe these unique letterpress wedding invitations by Byvik Ink. The unexpected design features a die cut circle on the front that allows the stitched cover of a “baseball” to show through and, when you open it up, a swirl of red, white, and blue vine-y flowers greets you, along with the wedding details. Cleverness!

Balloon-Themed Baby Shower Invites

Tina from Tabibi Design sent over these perfectly adorable (and slightly cheeky), balloon-themed baby shower invites that she recently designed for a parents-to-be, Nick and Lisa. Tina lets us in on some of the details about this super fun project:

I was asked to create a bright and fun shower invitation with a modern spin on the traditional baby shower invitation. The client wanted the invitation to appeal to both men and women for the casual, summer party celebration in honor of the parents-to-be, Nick and Lisa. I used the phrase, “She’s about to pop!”, accompanied by a balloon graphic, as the theme for the invitation. I knew a little humor would be appreciated by the happy couple, who are anything but traditional. The invitation was assembled with a satin poppy colored ribbon and custom tag with their registry information.
